We can’t do what we do without you.
Intense cold and ice blanketed our community earlier this month, proving challenging not only to staff but also to the guests we serve.
In the days that followed, we brainstormed ways to draw better attention to these challenges.
Here's what we came up with: both Executive Director Dan Clem and Community Engagement Director Mark Hunter will dedicate 50 consecutive hours outdoors, with the goal of raising $50,000. This initiative is not an attempt to replicate the hardships of homelessness but rather a radical effort aimed at drawing attention to this critical challenge in our community.
We invite you to join us in this endeavor. From January 26th at 10 AM to January 28th at Noon, we will be stationed at ACE Hardware in South Salem, live-streaming our experience on YouTube and Facebook.
