Outreach Ministries
Foot Care Ministry
Our foot clinic, started by a volunteer, has blossomed into a beautiful ministry answering Jesus’ call to care for others. Not only do our guests have the opportunity to rest, have their feet washed, and receive new shoes inside the Mission, but a group of volunteers also go out into homeless communities alongside Be Bold Street Ministry once a month to extend their mission outside the walls of UGM.
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
-Jesus after washing his disciples’ feet (John 13:13-17)
Do you feel called to serve in this ministry? You can help extend Jesus’ love to others by either signing up as a volunteer or even purchasing new shoes for those in need through our urgent needs list!
