Question: How often do people typically serve?
It ranges and we love that! Some people volunteer a couple times a week, some, a few times a month. We are flexible, but ask for 3 hours a month as a baseline.
Question: Why is your application so long?
As a volunteer you will be interacting with some of the most vulnerable members in your community. We always want to protect our clients, guests, and you! Because of this, we spend ample time vetting volunteers before service.
Question: How soon after I apply can I serve?
Our goal is to have you start your first volunteer shift two weeks after we receive your application. This can vary from application to application.
Question: Is being a Christian a volunteer requirement?
Nope! We just ask that you respect that our organization is rooted in Christian principals and practices.
